The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% Brightening Serum is a water-based brightening serum containing 12% ascorbyl glucoside, a Vitamin C derivative. This lightweight, water-based serum is great for those looking for solutions for uneven tone/dullness/signs of aging/antioxidant support.

Vitamin C is an effective antioxidant, brightens the skin tone, and reduces signs of aging. In its pure form, Vitamin C is unstable in water. Ascorbyl Glucoside is a water-soluble derivative of Vitamin C. It is much more stable in water but it is less potent than direct L-Ascorbic Acid. Being more compatible with water allows for a very pleasant serum texture. It is considered a gold standard of Vitamin C derivatives due to its high stability and comfortable use, but it’s impossible to achieve extremely high L-Ascorbic Acid potency with this solution.

How To Use The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% Brightening Serum:
Step 1: Cleanse – Wash your face with a gentle Cleanser/Facewash accordingly to your skin type.

Step 2: Tone- Toner Helps to calm and balance skin pH after cleansing.

Step 3: Treat – The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% Brightening Serum
Apply a few drops to face AM and PM. If irritation occurs, cease use and consult a physician. Use only as directed on unbroken skin.

Step 4: Moisturize – Moisturizer/Day & Night Cream maintain your skin’s moisture barrier and prevent environmental damage to your skin

Step 5: Sun Care – Apply Sunscreen to protect skin from UV Ray
